The Time and Prince's "777-9311" is a certifiable funk classic. I always found it to be a pain to mix, so I originally set out to just make a super simple edit to make it easier to mix. Then I realized that I didn't really like how it turned into a rock joint later in the song, so I snipped that out and just kept the funk. Re-EQ'd and arranged, it's a party starter.
